Shey Monastery - the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. The Shey Monastery or Gompa and the Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometres to the south of Leh in Ladakh, northern India on the Leh-Manali road. Shey was the old capital of the upper Ladakh region. When the Dogras of Jammu invaded Ladakh in 1842, the Namgyals abandoned the palace and fled to Stok (they made it their permanent residence) on the opposite side of the Indus River. It is conjectured that the fort found in ruins, not dated, above the present palace at Shey, belonged to this period of invasion. Subsequently, when the political dictates necessitated shifting of the capital to Leh, even then the importance of Shey continued since it was a mandatory requirement of the Namgyal kings to father their heir apparent here.
3 Idiot School - This school is also known as "The Druk White Lotus School" located in Shey, Ladakh, in northern India, and is known locally as the "Druk Padma Karpo School". Karpo means White and Padma means Lotus in the local language Bodhi. The school got its name 3 idiot school after the famous Indian actor Mr. Amir Khan cast his memorable movie 3 idiots here. Post lunch you may visit :
Leh Palace - Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the town of Leh, Ladakh, in the Indian Himalayas. This palace was constructed circa 1600 by Sengge Namgyal. The palace was abandoned when Dogra forces took control of Ladakh in the mid-19th century and forced the royal family to move to Stok Palace. It is nine storeys high, the upper floors accommodated the royal family, while the lower floors held stables and store rooms. Much of the palace is in deteriorated condition, and little survives of its interior decorations. The Palace Museum holds a rich collection of jewellery, ornaments, ceremonial dresses and crowns. Chinese thangka or paintings, which are more than 450 years old, with intricate designs still retain the bright colors derived from crushed and powdered gems and stones. Structures around the palace's base include the prominent Namgyal Stupa, the colourfully muralled Chandazik Gompa and the 1430 Chamba Lhakhang, with medieval mural fragments located between the inner and outer walls. The palace is being restored by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), this palace is open to the public and the roof provides panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding areas.
Shanti Stupa - Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district, Ladakh, in the north India. It was built in 1991 by Japanese.

Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at Hotel. Overnight at Kargil.
Magnetic Hills - Magnetic Hill in Ladakh, located at an elevation of 14,000 feet and far from contemporary civilization, is one of the most enigmatic and fascinating places to explore. The powers of gravity are claimed to be defied in this stunning natural setting. It's the spot where you put your car in neutral and watch it drive up the slope in an uphill direction.
Isn't it strange? You certainly should be. Several explanations (scientific and fictional) have been proposed to explain these strange phenomena. Some claim it's just an optical illusion, while others claim it's due to the Earth's Magnetic Force pulling the vehicles upwards. Regardless, this hysterical occurrence has drawn millions of travelers to Magnetic Hill from all over the world during their Ladakh Tour.
Whatever the reason, this Magnetic Hill is a fantastic site to visit. Click some gorgeous photos, relax and unwind - simply take in the panoramic views and enjoy Mother Nature's presence. Nothing compares to the quiet, serene, and simply stunning natural surroundings that surround Magnetic Hill. It's not fare to travel Ladakh without planning a trip to Kargil. Situated at an elevation of 8700 feet, Kargil became the most popular tourist destination after the Kargil War in 1999. During the 1999 war between India and Pakistan, Indian military soldiers successfully captured Tiger Hill from infiltrators after a hard battle. The Indian Army has established a War Memorial in Drass (63 kilometres from Kargil City) to remember India's triumph and to pay respect to our heroic soldiers. Drass is the world's second coldest inhabited place and coldest place in India.
Drass is widely regarded as Ladakh's entrance. The Pakistani army shelled Drass and the adjacent villages mercilessly during the Kargil War. In the end, the Indian Army reclaimed Drass and many of the Pakistani Army's captured peaks. Drass provides a spectacular perspective of high-altitude mountain peaks and valleys.
Kargil and Drass are ideal locations for adventure activities such as hiking, camping, mountaineering, and river rafting. Hunderman town, the Nun and Kun peaks, the Rangdum Monastery, the Mulbek Monastery, the Zanskar Valley, and the Phuktal Monastery are just a few of the significant tourist attractions in this region. Pashmina Shawls, indigenous carpets, dried apricots, and other items should be purchased during your Kargil visit.
After visiting these sites, travel to the 11th century famed Lamayuru Monastery - Ladakh's oldest monastery. According to A. H. Francke, a German-born Tibetologist, it was once the most important Bon Monastery in Ladakh, and its name signifies "Sauwastika" which is a popular Bon symbol meaning "eternity". The most popular Bon School is known as Yungdrung.

Ladakh is the ideal destination for a group tour, honeymoon couple or a bike trip. It is not recommend traveling Ladakh with small kids. If you're travelling with children, make sure you're aware of all potential inconvenience. Tourists should avoid taking children under the age of five since they may have difficulty in acclimatization. Oxygen shortage in high altitude may cause physical discomfort among kids and children. So, plan your Ladakh Tour with kinds with proper knowledge and guidance.
Ladakh is in high altitude. The highest elevation in Ladakh region is 7,742 m (Saltoro Kangri or Peak 36) and lowest elevation is 2550 m (Indus River). Leh - the capital city of Ladakh is located at 3500 m altitude. So, as you go higher, the density of oxygen decreases and become thin. If you ascend higher than 1000 meters above sea level, you will have difficulty in breathing and may succumb to altitude sickness. So, during your Ladakh Tour, you can face oxygen scarcity. It is best to take some rest upon arrival in Leh and get acclimatize.
High Altitude Symptoms include giddiness, loss of appetite, lack of sleep, and trouble breathing. The best strategy to adapt in Ladakh is to take a natural break of at least 48 hours.
In the Ladakh region, it is not recommended to drink alcohol. Your respiratory drive is weakened and Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is worsened when you drink beer, smoke cigarettes, or use any other hard drinks at a height of 3500 metres (11,480 feet).

It is called snow desert due to its coldness, but the cold in July and August is not that kind of biting cold. It is very pleasant weather. In Nubra also it will be pleasant cold. But in Pangong Lake it may be chilling cold and windy also. But in Pangong Lake the hotel or camp quality are very good, so you will be in good comfort mode and warm. This is applicable for Srinagar also. If you hire the bike from Srinagar, you have to return it to Srinagar itself. It will be more enjoyable Leh Ladakh Tour for you.
To enjoy the stunning beauty of Ladakh to its fullest, your Leh Ladakh Package Tour should be at least for 8-10 days excluding travel time.

Yes, definitely he/she can. The most adventurous thing which pumps up our adrenaline is – Ladakh Tour from Manali through Manali Leh Highway. For freightless traveler, it’s a passion, for photographers it’s a paradise and for bikers, it’s a dream. The road distance between Manali to Leh is approximately 490 km and it almost takes 2days for the journey by motorcycle, Jeep or bus.
Before you are planning your Ladakh Package Tour, you must be well conversant with various climates & temperature in Ladakh. Winter in Ladakh is unbearable as temperature can drop as low as -30° (Leh & Kargil) to -60° in (Drass). You will experience subzero temperature from December to end of February. This results in freezing of all available water resources and life become standstill in Ladakh. So it is not a good idea to plan Leh Ladakh travel during winter. So what is the best time to travel Ladakh then?
Well, According to suggestions of NatureWings, the best time to book Ladakh Tour Packages is between April to mid of September as during this time only Ladakh has the pleasant weather and accessibility to various sightseeing destination is easy to access. During summer which starts from April and prevail till end of July temperature varies between 15°C - 30°C. The snow is completely vanished and you can discover Ladakh with its full bloom with an ambience of favourite Hemis festival.
You must start early from Leh City if you want to cover Leh to Pangong in a day & be back by evening. It will take you at least 5-6 hours to get to Pangong& another 5-6 hours to return back.
Any Ladakh Package Tour or Kargil Package Tour should be planned from March to August as summer is the best season to travel as the temperature starts to rise and the harsh winter seems to subside although from April to Mid May tourist could still find snow. March is the month of the adventures like trekking and river rafting and many more for those who are interested.

Fantastic arrangement by Team NatureWings. I recently book a trip in October with NatureWings after reading a lot of positive feedback especially their expertise in Himalayan Region. Our plan was for 7N/8D covering Leh & Ladakh. Throughout our journey, every day I used to get calls from them inquiring about the travel comfort, stay etc. I was really surprised with the professionalism and the care for their tourists. From handling of Permits, coordinating with driver, informing the concern person for our stays everything was butter smooth. I highly recommend NatureWings & Team to all, looking forward to do my future trips through them only.
It was an amazing Ladakh Trip. It’s our first family trip with NatureWings and In future surely we will plan our trips with NatureWings. All the arrangements made by them were as committed at the time of selling. The vehicle was in a very good shape & the driver we got, was an experienced young locale chap, who knows the hills very well. He shared his experience and travel tips as a guide beyond just driving. Quality of the hotels & surrounding breathtaking view was the icing on the cake. We got warm and comfortable rooms, along with the hot, fresh & hygienic foods. NatureWings hospitality touched our mind. The Leh Ladakh Tour Packages was beyond our expectations within this price range. Overall, it was a life time experience for me and my family. We will highly recommend NatureWings & Team to all for their Hospitality and the Expertise to provide the highest satisfaction.
Leh Ladakh is beautiful. This is to motivate people of all ages to surely visit this place once a heaven on earth. We had gone through NatureWings which was suggested by one of my friends who have experienced their expertise in Himalayan Region. We started our journey by flight from Mumbai to leh. It was a family Tour consisting of 7 Members. Leh is indeed a beautiful place to behold, best was Nubra valley. The stay in Nubra valley was excellent with good food and best possible service. The trip from Leh to Nubra valley and Pangong Lake has breathtaking views. While return we experienced snowfall in Khardungla Pass, which was like cherry on top. The driver we got was a very helpful and kind-hearted person. We very much enjoyed his accompany for the entire Ladakh Trip. All the arrangements were as per expectations and committed by them. A big thumps up for NatureWings, we highly recommend them to all.
For the first time in my life, I booked a package tour from a tour operator, and based on my experience, I must say it will not be my last. From the very first day of communication a thoroughly professional approach, keeping the best interests and the needs of the customer in mind at all times was their point of concern. All the arrangements were good & value for money, and the process of procuring permits and other formalities was seamless and smooth. The hotels and food were good, and even arrangements were made for vegetarian food as well. Overall, an excellent memorable experience. Team NatureWings was very responsive and we always felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. We enjoyed our Ladakh Package Tour from Mumbai at our fullest satisfaction. Kudos Team - NatureWings.
