From GoogleSunita Biswas - Latpanchar Tour Review
We travelled to Latpanchar, Sitong and Darjeeling in last December. It was the best season to visit those places. Sky was clear and oranges are in full blossom. The first time we have seen the orange blossom and we took few oranges from the tree. It was so sweet and tasty. We spotted few birds also in Latpanchar. In the early morning, we visited Ahaldara view point, highest point in the vicinity to witness the sunrise on Mount Kanchanjhungha. From Latpanchar, we proceed to Darjeeling, where we stayed 2 nights. Though we have visited Darjeeling twice before, but it is always charming. The homestays in Latpanchar and hotels in Darjeeling were good and provided good meals. The warm hospitality at Latpanchar home stay was really nice and memorable one. Thanks to NatureWings for providing us a memorable trip.

We went to Lamahatta, Darjeeling and Latpanchar in last February. Lamahatta is famous for its breathtaking view of Mount Kanchanjungha with the Lamahatta Nature Park. We were newly married couple and went for sightseeing to Lovers point; from there the valley view with the river was really awesome. We then visited to Darjeeling just for one day and enjoyed the heritage toy train ride. Then we proceed to unknown place, Latpanchar, recently got little popularity for bird watching. We have spotted rare birds Rufous Necked Hornbill, what a beauty of the bird. We noticed many tourists from all over India flocked into Latpanchar for bird watching. From Latpanchar, we visited Sitong, famous for orange orchard, tough tree was empty. We spent some time on the bank of river Riyang. We are from Mumbai and enjoyed the trip with heritage Darjeeling along with nature freak destinations. We recommend traveller to consult NatureWings for any trip in this region.
