DAY 1: Welcome to Njp/IXB and transfer to Darjeeling

Meet and Greet at Njp/ IXB/ Busstand and proceed towards Darjeeling after breakfast.The picturesque Teesta follows you all the way.

On arrival check-in at Hotel. In the afternoon, stroll about and shop at - Chowrasta & Darjeeling Mall The heart of Victorian Darjeeling, this the place is the commercial hub, set on the ridge above Darjeeling town, dotted with numerous curio centers and other shops including fine blended Darjeeling tea.

DAY 2: Full day Darjeeling City Tour

Early morning visit to

Tiger Hill Sunrise Point: for an unforgettable sunrise over the snow-covered peaks of the majestic Himalayas.

Batasia Loop: Loop isa loop or a spiral of a narrow-gauge railway track where the Toy Train negotiates a sudden sharp descent from Ghoom. The place provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

Ghoom Monestry: It follows the lineage of Sakya Sect of Vajrayana Buddhism and also has a small philosophical institute.

Ava Art Gallery: Established in 1965, by Bhopal Rao Sett and Ava Devi and exhibits fine art and embroidery works of Ava Devi.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: the unique feature of this zoo is, it houses animals of high altitude and mostly from upper Himalayas. You can see some rare animals here like Red Pandas, Snow Leopards, Tibetan Wolf and lot more. The zoo contributes significantly to the breeding programs of endangered animals

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: (Closed on Thursday), HMI is a pilgrimage for all climbing enthusiasts of the world. Established in honor of Tenzing Norgay, it has a well stocked museum with mountaineering displays and many expedition artifacts.

Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda: Located in the Jalapahar hill, the Japanese Temple is built in traditional Japanese style. Close to it is the Peace Pagoda where there are four large avatars of Lord Buddha. The view from the top is magnificent.

Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock: at Lebong Cart Road and are also known as Monkey Rock. HMI imparts Rock climbing lessons.

Tibetan Refugee Self-help centre: Established on 1st October 1959, to rehabilitate the Tibetan refugees. Excellent carpets, woolens, wood and leather works are produced here.

Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway: From the ropeway you can have mind blowing view of the valley below, see the spread of lush tea gardens, dense forests, mountain streams in their full flow, waterfalls, and the awesome snow peaks at the background. You can also enjoy the World UNESCO Heritage world-famous Toy Train to Ghoom subject to track conditions.

DAY 3: Darjeelig to Kalimpong

After Brealkfast start for Kalimpong is a virgin hill station in West Bengal renowned for its panoramic Mt Kanchanjhangha andvalley views, Local sightseeing in Kalimpong area includes visits to famous monasteries Delo Park offering sweeping views of Kanchenjunga snow peaks, rivers & landscapes, visits to museums, parks, flower nurseries, missionary schools etc.

DAY 4: Kalimpong to Charkol

Start for Kalimpong sightseeing after breakfast

Dr Graham's Homes: This missionary school was set up by Dr. J A Graham in 1900 as an orphanage & school for the destitute Anglo Indian children. It is located on the way to Deolo Hills.

Deolo Hill: This is the major attraction in East Kalimpong. The tourism department has created an 8-acre lush parkland with manicured flower gardens and several view points with breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, Durpin hill, Kalimpong Township and the valley with rivers flowing through them.

Mangal Dham: A temple complex built in the memory of late Guruji Mangal Dasji and dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Durpin Monastery: This Tibetan monastery is located on the Durpin hill and hence such name. The actual name is Zang Dog Palri monastery. It was built in 1972 and has some rare Buddhist scripts that were brought here by Dalai Lama from Tibet. From the upper terrace of the monastery, you get magnificent views of Kalimpong town with Kanchenjunga in the background, the valley and the plains, Teesta & Reang rivers flowing down, and lovely tea estates of Peshoke area

Proceed towards Charkol once the sightseeing is done.

The Nature gifted all its wealth to Charkol ,a small hamlet located on the edge of the Himalayan mountain at an altitude of 5000ft . Surrounded by the deep and moist forest of huge pine ,Cypres ,Oak, Shal and Rhododendrons Charkol offers a splendid view of the mighty Mt Kanchanjhanga. The sweet melody of rare brids The sweet melody of rare birds including Blue Frontel Redstart,, Indian Robin, Green Beaked Tit, Ashley Prinia will accompany you throughout the journey towards Charkol.

DAY 5: Charkol to Rishop

Overnight after breakfast start for Rishop enroute covering Lolegaon and Canopy walk.

Canopy Walk: The most beautiful attraction of Lolegaon is the canopy walk -- it is a dense forest with a walking trail and part of the trees have been joined together to form a 75 meter long canopy. It is a lovely walk through the forests - the chirping birds, buzzing insects and fleeting butterflies, the shades of dark and light as the sun barely made its way thru the dense forests and above all the smell of the jungle -- all will add an aroma to your entire trip and the revelations are slow and full of surprises, the idea behind a walk maybe to simply explore a trail, or maybe to get a feel of the jungle. or to climb on top of the cllif you have been eyeing for long days. Guest can follow the birds while the kids collect dry leaves for their scrap books.

Canopy Walk

Lolegaon: a small tiny village, located in the kalimpong Sub Division of Darjeeling District and one of the most beautiful place in the Darjeeling village tourism. One can cover this place on foot in barely couple of minutes!!! Tourist will be blessed by a giant statue of Lord Buddha in the Eco Tourism Park

DAY 5: Rishop to Kolakham

Start for Kolakham a small village nestled in Neora Valley Reserve Forest facing the Eastern Himalayan peak after breakfast. The place located at an altitude of 6500ft is a paradise for nature lovers. Kolakham Nature Retreat set amidst Oak, Rhododendron and Pine forests, and overlooking the snow-clad Himalaya, this is an ideal getaway for those who wish to explore pristine mountain wilderness. wake up to the sweet melody of birds. The majestic view of Kanchenjunga from Kolakham village, the jungle trail in the Neora forest, the scenic beauty of Change waterfalls is once in a lifetime experience for anyone. Adventurous minded people can refresh their minds with a short trek around Kolakham.

Changi Falls: Changi, Changey or Chaney falls just 3 km jeep drive and 1.5 km walk down through nicely built staircases and rest hut takes you to the most beautiful falls in the deep forest of Darjeeling Hills. It is the only falls in the deep forest which can be reached by tourists by jeep ride and a walk down to around 250 stairs. In the deep forest of Neora Valley forest with sounds of rare tropical birds like Wagtail, Minivet and others make your journey a memorable one.
