Day 1 - NJP/Bagdogra to Okhrey/Hilley (2743 mtr/6 hrs drive)
You will be picked up from Bagdogra and driven to Okhrey/Hilley through the breathtaking beauty of South-western Sikkim.On arrival, check in to hotel.

Day 2 - Okhrey to Varsey Excursion (4 km, 2 hrs trek, 3048 mtr)
In the morning start for an excursion to Varsey. It’s a one hour drive and from Hilley, a two hour trek to Varsey. It is a small hamlet on the route to Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary.

Day 3 -Okhrey to Kaluk-Rinchenpong (1524 mtr/3 hrs drive)
Kaluk is the buffer zone area of the famous Varsey Rhododendron sanctuary. The area is gifted with biological diversity and is a paradise for nature lovers. The area enjoys spectacular view of snow-capped mountains.
On arrival, check in to hotel and start for visits to:
British Bungalow, a colonial bungalow at the cliff of a mountain with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Rabindranath Tagore used to come to this bunglow and stay to rest and write.
Rinchenpong monastery, which houses a rare idol of Buddha.

Day 4 -Kaluk- Rinchenpong to Hee-Barmiyok (2316 mtr/1.5 hrs drive)
With the gleaming Khangchendzonga as the backdrop, Hee-Bermiock is a tiny hamlet nestled in West Sikkim. Day 5 - Hee-Barmiyok to Uttarey (2316 mtr/2 hrs drive)

Pemayangtse Monastery, constructed in 17th century, this headquarters of the Nyingma sect nestles on an altitude of 2085 mtrs and is surrounded by snow-clad mountains.
Rabdentse Ruins, located near the Pemayangtse Monastery, this was the second capital of the Sikkim Royalty after Yuksom. The ruins of the city commands a panoramic view of Khangchendzonga and the valley.
Check in on arrival and have the evening to yourselves to relish the quietude of the Himalayas.

Day 7 - Pelling to Yuksom (1780 mtr/2 hrs drive)
The village Yuksom offer plenty of opportunity for relishing the history of Sikkim. It is the adventure base camp for Dzongri- Goechala trekking, and offer an ever-magical view of the Khangchendzonga.

Day 8 -Yuksom to Borong (2133 mtr/3 hrs drive)
It is a tourist basecamp for trekkers to Maenam hill. Looming views of the Himalayas and a diverse avifauna is the specialty of Borong.In fact, passionate birdwatchers may visit the Maenam Bird Sanctuary.

Day 9 -Borong to Temi Tea Garden via Namchi (1371 mtr/3 hrs drive)
In the morning check out and drive to Temi Tea Garden, the famous tea estate of sikkim spread out on a gentle hill slope originating from the Tendong hill provides a magnificient of the surrounding villages and mountain views. Check in to hotel and relax.

Tashi View Point built by Tashi Namgyal, offering a panoramic view of Mt Khangchendzonga.
Gonjang Monastery: Gonjang Monastery near Tashi View Point was established in the year 1981. The founder is H.E. Tingkye Gonjang Rimpoche. He was recognised as an incarnation of Yolmo Terton Ngakchang Shakya Zangpo, a 15th century Nyingmapa Terton. The monastery follows Jangter tradition of Nyingmapa school of Tibetan Buddhism.
Do-drul Chorten, built by the Venerable Trullshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibeten Buddhism, in 1945. Inside the stupa, there are complete mandala set of Dorjee phurba (Vajra Kilaya), a set of Kang Gyur relic (Holy Book), complete 'Zung' (mantras) and other religious objects. Around the Chorten, there are 108 Mani Lhakor (Prayer Wheels).
Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, The most prestigious research institute of its kind in the world, NIT is a treasure of vast collection of rare Lepcha, Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues and rare Thankas (colourful tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy). Apart from an attractive museum, it has over 200 Buddhist icons and other prized objects of art.
Orchid House, the paradise made of orchids is located just below NIT and boasts a population of 250 exotic species of orchids.
Hur Huray Dara the Nam Nang view point, provides a panoramic view of the lush forests and the vibrant green valley
Tsuklakhang(Palace Monastery), located inside the palace of the Chogyals, the former rulers of Sikkim, it is the most accessible monastery within the city. Built in typical Sikkimese style, there are interesting murals and images of Buddhist pantheon.
White Memorial Hall, a typical british structure constructed in 1932 in memory of Claude White.
Flower Show Hall, a popular permanent exhibition of Sikkims diverse flowering fauna, located near the White Hall.

Bakthang/Bartuk waterfalls 20 minutes drive from Gangtok is Bakthang Water Falls along the 31 A National Highway leading to North Sikkim. It originates from Ratey Chu, the main water source of Gangtok area. Suggested to visit with a view to relax and to take photographs
Himalayan Zoological Park, sprawling over 205 hectares, The zoo houses the Red Panda, Sikkim’s state animal, wolves, panthers, leopards, Civet cats, the Himalayan Black Bear and a snow leopard pair.
Ganesh Tok, Dedicated to Lord Ganesh, the temple is located at an altitude of 6500 feet on a panoramic hilltop offering a birds eye view of sprawling Gangtok town, while across the hills Mt. Khang-chen-Dzonga and Mt. Siniolchu loom over the horizon
Hanuman tok, The temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is situated at an altitude of 7200 feet at a distance of about nine kilometres uphill from Gangtok on a blissfully calm and quiet hilltop. Popularly known as a wish fulfilling temple, it is maintained by the resident units of the Indian Army and contributions from the local people.

Rumtek Monastery The seat of the Karma Kagyu lineage or the “Black Hat†order of the Tibetan Buddhists and one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites of Sikkim.
Nehru Botanical Garden, home to a mix of tropical and temperate plants and trees as well as a big greenhouse of exotic orchids. It’s a good place to stop for a while. For children there is a small playground with swings and a see-saw and a winding footpath is ideal for a stroll.
