Arunachal Pradesh is the safest state in the entire northeastern region of India. One of the vital reasons to mark it out as the safest of all is the people here are not that much religious; therefore, they stay away from all types of vices over the nation. You may not have any problem while traveling Arunachal Pradesh, but you need to carry your identity cards, also you must have an inner line permit to enter any of the states in North-eastern states.
Not in all the North-Eastern states, but three of the main states (Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram) you need a permit to travel. This permit is called the Inner Line Permit (ILP). The permit for traveling Arunachal Pradesh can be obtained from Arunachal Bhawan that is located outside of the North-eastern region. Guwahati international airport, Dibrugarh airport, and Silchar airport are three major airports in North-East India, and all these airports have the facility to provide permits to the tourists. Also, the government of Arunachal Pradesh have already provided the facilities to apply online for the Inner Line permits.
Yes, of course. Tawang is situated at high altitude 3,048 m or 10,000 ft above sea level. Visitors can experience plenty of snowfall from end of November to end of April. Freezing cold accompanied by chill breeze is the weather in Tawang in winter season. So, if you want to enjoy snow, visit this time.
Well, it may take more than 30 days if you want to know every detail about the place. However, if you want to cover the vital places, 10 days of the tour package is enough to experience a wonderful trip. Total sightseeing of the Tawang region along with the Bum La Pass and Zimithang can be covered in 9 night/10 days. You can also choose the other side of the state such as Ziro and Mechuka region that takes 8 to 9 days to cover(if you want to cover Bhalukpong and Bomdila). Do not miss to visit Kaziranga and Nameri.
The tourism business is still in a growing form in Arunachal Pradesh as well as the whole North-East part of India. Of course, there are plenty of choices of sightseeing in Arunachal Pradesh. Also, some places are still unexplored and yet not that much popular. This is the main reason this place becomes the center of attraction to the young explorer. Therefore, we suggest you pre-book hotels according to your choice. A lot of homestay service is available in Arunachal Pradesh. If you are with a travel agent, make sure that you leave this part to them. Surely, they manage the best accommodation according to your budget. Also, you will get a hazard-free trip when your tour operators choose a place for you.

All the hotels, food quality, driver, behaviour of hotel staff were just excellent. Trip was very much well organized by Mr. Arpan & Mr. Indrajit. thank you for arranging such a wonderful trip. Arpan & Indrajit used to call me twice a day to know whether there is any area of concern/improvement. This was my second trip with nature wings. I will definitely love to have a trip with nature wings again.
We were planning to visit the North East and some ease to access locations. We got in touch with NatureWings who suggested and designed the package for us which was for 6 days including 2 days stay each at Shillong, Cherrapunjee and Kaziranga. Naturewings had got our hotels booked and arranged for a cab pick up from the Guwahati airport who stayed with us during our journey and then finally dropped us back to the airport at Guwahati at the end of the trip. I must say not only the trip well planned but the choice of stay and the points to visit at the various tourist spots was very well thought of. The cab operator who was a local person was very friendly and helpful. He acted as guide to us and advised and informed us on points of interest. We had stayed at Orchid Lake Resort Barapani and Barbareek Inn at Shillong, at Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort at Cherrapunjee and at Wild Grass Resort at Kaziranga. The stay at these places were very comfortable and along with the tranquility and scenic beauty Orchid, Cherrapunjee Resort and Wild Grass Lodge it turned out to be a very memorable and enjoyable stay. Naturewings were also regularly in touch with us and though we really didn't need any help as everything was very well planned out. Must mention the support we got from Ms Arpita and later Mr. Ratul who kept in regular touch.
I went to Guwahati, shillong, Cherrapunjee & West Arunachal with NatureWings..
Mr. Inderjeet was responsive point to point in our entire trip and made sure we get the best services.. the trip was fantastic and even though we made the bookings not very early, still we got the best of room and travel iterenary.. Will highly recommend NatureWings 😊👌
We have taken Kaziranga and Arunachal Trip through NatureWings in this year January month. It was Nine Nights trip with my three friends and their families. Our trip includes Kaziranga, Tawang, Dirang, Bomdila and Bhalukpong. We are from Mumbai and we got the reference of NatureWings from one of my close friend, who took the North East Package from NatureWings last year and suggested me to take the Kaziranga Package Tour along with Arunachal with NatureWings only as they were extremely happy with NatureWings Service. So after a discussion, we did lots of customization as our choice and they revised the itinerary happily so many times. We have planned for Kaziranga Jungle Safari for long and our first day was in Kaziranga Jungle and on the next day early morning we took the famous Kaziranga Elephant Safari. It was only once in a life time experience as we could see the One Horn Rhinos just from few metre distance. In the afternoon, we took the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in the central range and that too was great experience. We stayed in a nice resort close to Kaziranga Western Range and resort was very beautiful with nice ambience, food and service were extremely good. Next day, we started for Western Aurnachal and we visited Bomdila, Tawang, Diranga and Bhalukpong and overall Arunachal experience was also very good. Thank you NatureWings for providing best experience in our North East Package.
We were very confused about whether to choose Arunachal Pradesh as our holiday destination but NatureWings, especially Suman convinced us that it will be a good journey and he made it. Thank u, Suman. You made it. We were fascinated by the enchanting beauty of Arunachal. It's really a gem in the North East travel sector. The hotels, homestay, the driver provided were really commendable and cordial especially when you are traveling such an extreme part of any location, The driver must be very friendly, faithful, and cordial and that one provided by NatureWings was perfect. Thank you, Suman and NatureWings for such a nice and perfect trip.
We booked our Arunachal Tour for Nov 2019 end. We were 6 persons traveling from Mumbai. We reached Gauhati by air and from there, our Arunachal Tour started with a tour guide cum driver provided by NatureWings. In this remote off-beat destination like Arunachal, you have to depend entirely on your driver and thankfully we got a decent and cordial driver throughout our Arunachal Tour. On our return, we visited Kamakhya Temple and offered puja. It was a nice trip. Mr. Suman from NatureWings deserves a Kudos.
It was such an amazing tour to Arunachal Pradesh that I can't get over it even after a year of our visit especially the quaint town of Tawang. Our family planned to have an incredible vacation to this North Eastern State with our journey starting from Guwahati and covering beautiful places like Bhalukpong, Dirang, Tawang, Bomdila, Tezpur, and Kaziranga. The destination was great, and we enjoyed a lot while staying in good accommodation amidst the mountains, quiet nature with serenity and peace was true bliss.
NatureWings Holidays arranged our Tawang Trip from Mumbai and it was a great experience we all had due to an exceptionally well-planned trip by Mr. Sandip Raha. All hotels we stayed in were good and hygienic, with our very polite driver who kept the car very clean. We appreciate and recommend NatureWings Holidays for worry-free Tawang related tours.
We went to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh in the 2019 Diwali vacation from Delhi and booked our tour through NatureWings Holidays based on online reviews. They handled the whole trip with great care and we received follow-up calls from them on daily basis. The hotels booked were good and after spending 13 days we again wished to visit this State once again through this professional travel agency who assured us their best service.
Thanks a lot to NatureWings Holidays managed by Mr. Sandip Raha, and only for him my North East Tour was a great success. The whole arrangement was superb and everything was systematic and praiseworthy. Utmost care was taken to see our age, liking, difficulties, and choices before booking our hotels and car at a lucrative rate. I recommend every North East explorer to choose NatureWings as their travel partner for a worry-free and reliable trip.
Tawang is a beautiful place to visit while on a North East Package Tour and in early 2020 we got a chance to explore this beautiful place amidst the tough mountains. The highlight of this place is its 400 years old Tawang monastery along with few ads on nearby places like Jaswant Singh Memorial, Nuranang falls, Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake, and War memorial. Although the place was undoubtedly great with a good stay, but the food is an issue here as my mother being vegetarian had to rely upon minimal options, but other than that we had a great family time.
