WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL TO BHUTAN FROM USA?
To enjoy Bhutan's beauty at its fullest, you must book your Bhutan Tour Package from USA at the right time. Bhutan has four seasons: winter, spring, summer, and autumn and weather greatly determines when you must plan a Bhutan Tour from USA.
Generally, Autumn and Spring are considered to be the best times to visit Bhutan as this time you can witness colorful flower blossoms, bright sun, blue skies, crisp air, and cultural festivals, and you can also take a wonderful trekking trip on the Himalayan trails. Nevertheless, we have mentioned all season's pros and cons below.
SPRING [MARCH - APRIL - MAY]
One of the ideal times to go for the United States to Bhutan Package Tour, covered with beautiful flowers, blue bright skies, cool breezes, and resilient greenery, this season will make you believe in the heaven on earth. In addition, you can also go on hiking and soak in the beauty of the lands or enjoy Bhutan’s one of the most valuable festivals Paro Tshechu.
SUMMER [JUNE - JULY - AUGUST]
With the unpredictable monsoon showers, it’s not the perfect time to book a Bhutan Tour from USA. Also, in the hot weather doing activities like hiking and trekking can be difficult. However, Haa Summer Festival can be witnessed during this season.
AUTUMN [SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER - NOVEMBER]
It is also considered the peak season for going on a Bhutan Package Tour from USA. At this time Bhutan becomes a great cultural bazaar with many religious mask dance festivals to traditional folk culture festivals like Thimphu Tshechu and Jambay Lhakhang Drup Festival. Plus, you can enjoy trekking and hiking further up into the Himalayas and also explore Bhutan’s hinterlands. Moreover, it’s a magical season to witness Bhutan.
WINTER [DECEMBER - JANUARY - FEBRUARY]
If you plan to book the United States to Bhutan Tour in winter, it’ll be a moderate time as winter is not that harsh in Bhutan. Though the high mountain paths receive good snowfall, the lower lands remain quite navigable. So planning trekking in the highlands can be dangerous still you can plan a short one. The most amazing part of this season is the endangered Black Necked Cranes that you can witness in the beautiful Phobjikha valley which only migrate in Bhutan during winter. If you’re a birdwatcher it’ll be a great delight! Plus, you can visit the cultural sight and interact with commoners, and can also witness local festivals like Punakha Drubchen.

As the sun spread its warm rays across the beautiful Thimphu valley, begins your day with a hot cup of Suja (Butter Tea) and move towards the breakfast table to enjoy their delicious spread before leaving for Thimphu local sightseeing.
The National Memorial Chorten or Thimphu Chorten - Also known as Thimphu Chorten is a site for evening prayer. The chorten was build in the third King memory, and it was continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. The idea to construct this landmark was proposed by Bhutan third King, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk ("the father of modern Bhutan"), who has wished to erect a monument to the World for peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after Majesty's untimely death, it served as a memorial to the late King and a monument of peace.
The Clock Tower - Located at the centre of the Thimphu Town, the Clock Tower Square is an architectural wonder one can behold during Bhutan package tour from Delhi. This tower differs from every other construction or building in Bhutan. It is basically a tower with four clock faces in four directions. The tower depicts of Bhutanese architecture pattern which is basically painted or engraved on wood. The tower is decorated with many intricately carved floral patterns, paintings, and replica of dragons. The dragons on the tower are facing each clock in the tower, which is interesting to look at. The dragon is a holy animal in Bhutanese culture, and it stands for the country's independence.
As this place is a prime attraction among locals and travelers in Bhutan, most people come here in the evening to see and enjoy the exquisite carvings and paintings. This tower is one of the busiest locations in town because there are numerous restaurants, gift shops, and hotels nearby. The square is in close proximity to a number of trade fairs, concerts, and other events. The area of clock tower and its surroundings occasionally hosts live music events, which makes the place vibrant and full of life and energy. You can buy gifts for your family and friends at one of the many shopping centers in the area. There is a little playground for children that are also a great place for a picnic and a fun evening activity.
Sakyamuni Buddha - On the top of Kuensel Phodrang hill sits the statue of Great Buddha Dordenma. The 51.5-meter long gilded bronze statue would surely attract you, and the uninterrupted view of the valley would leave you spellbound. This site is also known as Buddha Viewpoint.
Changangkha Lhakhang – At Thimphu, you will come across several monasteries and temples, but Changangkha Lhakhang is the most important religious structure amongst all. The fabric is dedicated to Avalokiteshvara, a sign of compassion dating back to the 15th century, the oldest in the region, and from here, enjoy the grand view of Thimphu valley.
Takin Zoo – In here, you will find the National animal of Bhutan, "Takin". Takin is one of the most endangered species of the World, and it is available only in Bhutan, preserved in open habitat.
Trashi Chhoe Dzong - Or the Fortress of the Glorious Region is another 'must visit' site on a Bhutan Package Tour Itinerary from Delhi. Situated on the west bank of Wang Chhu River, the Trashi Chhoe Dzong is the formal coronation site of the fifth King that hosts the annual Tsechu festival. This Dzong was built in the year 1641 by the political and religious unifier of Bhutan, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, later it was reconstructed in the 1960s in a traditional Bhutanese manner, without the use of nails or architectural plans. Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.
DAY 3 : THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA TRANSFER [2 HR 8 MIN / 74.0 KM]
As your Hot Ngaja (a Sweet Bhutanese milk tea) arrives sip into it while enjoying the beautiful valley from the room. Post breakfast heads towards Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. Punakha is much backward from the chaotic city life at an elevation of 1200 m, which makes this place quite warm in winter and chill during summer. The valley is famous for Red and White Rice farming along the Pho and Mo Chu river's stretch. En-route visit.
Punakha Dzong : Also known as "The Palace of Great Happiness", Punakha Dzong is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the Punakha–Wangdue valley. We have concluded our memorable Bhutan tour from Delhi in the last week. It was arranged perfectly by naturewings. Mr Sarkar has done all the bookings after consulting us time to time and provided us the booking vouchers collectively. Sabitra was our tour coordinator who was constantly in touch with us on WhatsApp and asking us about the ups and downs of the experiences.
Our Bhutan Tour guide was Lobzang who is a decent and knowledgeable person. He accompanied us throughout the tour. Our driver Bijay was a funny and cooperative guy. On a whole the experience with naturewings was very very good.

Hi Soumalya, We are very much thankful to you for planning entire trip with so proper itinerary, without any hectic schedule. We were able to enjoy all beautiful places, clicking lots of photographs without any worries about reaching to next destination. Hotels were good. Food was great. Especially, we enjoyed ourselves much at Mrs. Sonam's house. She was a gem, very warm and kind hearted lady and great cook. We enjoyed food at her place more than any other since it was home made with love and care. Special thanks to her and Mr Sonam too. Mr. Parmesh, our driver was very helpful too and entertained us lot. He was our part-time guide too.
Once again, I thank you for responding all my queries so patiently and Mr Sandip Raha too (I got a first introductory call from him as soon as I had put my query late in the night around 11 PM) and for completing our trip with success and lots of good memories in Bhutan. I will blindly recommend Naturewings to anyone who is looking for Bhutan tour from Mumbai in future."

When planning for your holidays, we want to choose nothing but the best and Naturewings completely ensures that they give in their best and makes your trip a memorable one. I came across Naturewings on internet and was skeptical to shortlist them as they were based out of Kolkata and I belonged to Mumbai and there was no face to the name. On my first call with Sandip Raha, he assured me and my husband that he would take care of my itenary and I must say he has lived upto all his promises. Right from planning our itenary, to booking our tickets, to sharing the entire trip coordinates, he and his team has done a fab job to ensure that we don't face any troubles at any time. We were well received at the Paro airport by Soumlya Ghosh who thereon was in continuous touch to ensure that every aspect of the tour is well taken care of. Must say that all the properties were unique and the room view was mesmerizing
. Thank you Sandip to ensure that we come back with happy faces and memories worth a lifetime...
Kudos to Mr.Sandip Raha, Soumalya Ghosh and the entire team at Naturewings!!! 👍

I visited Bhutan along with my wife from 9th to 13th Nov'17. The entire package was arranged by NatureWings. It may not be exaggerating to say that Nature wings is one of the finest tour operators i have come across so far. I was totally impressed by their quick and courteous response. They were continuously monitoring our stay in Bhutan. Particularly the response and attentiveness of Mr Suman and Soumalya is appreciable. Even the driver provided was so friendly and so was the vehicle. Coming to Bhutan it is really the land of happiness. We were totally mesmerized by the stunning beauty and ambience. In total it was pleasant trip of happiness altogether. I already referred Nature wings to my friends and for my future trips to Northeast India i prefer Nature wings. Keep it up guys. All the best.

I was searching a destination for Honeymoon and after scanning through a lot of available options we zeroed in on Bhutan the 1st country on Happiness index. Then the search began for popular travels conducting tours to Bhutan and to my shock I found that not many popular players conduct tours to Bhutan. Once while I was scanning through the internet i came across the site of "Naturewings" and sent an inquiry for one of the tour packages and I got a call from the director Mr. Sandip Raha the same evening. He gave me all the detailed information about packages and the options available, it was very much informative and all tour the information was in much detail. After a series of discussions emails, travel options hotel options, options of places to visit we finally choose the itinerary which suited us the best. And all through these communications Mr. Sandip Raha and his team was very patient in understanding our requirement and more than willing to help us in customizing the package. Our Bhutan package included the Popular destinations of Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. During our entire stay at Bhutan Naturewings team remained in good contact from time to time which is a rare quality with other tour operators. All the hotels were chosen personally by Mr. Sandip Raha and all of them were really fantastic especially the hotel @ Paro. All in all i would say the experience with "Naturewings" was very good and I must say they have very strong network in this region and you can trust them. Once you have shared with them your requirement rest assured that Naturewings will come up with the best package and trust me they keep all there promises.
